Celtic Heart Border Collies is a small kennel striving to breed sound, quality performance dogs from proven Border Collies suitable for Show Conformation, Herding, Endurance, Agility, Obedience, or the forever family home.
I am a registered Exhibitor and Breeder with Dogs QLD (CCCQ) and Dogs NSW, and started showing Border Collies in 2000 after being involved in other Border Collie disciplines (Obedience/Agility) along with equine sports since 1988.
All Stud Dogs and Bitches are tested for Glaucoma, DNA Tested for CEA, NCL, TNS, and Hip/Elbow x-rayed and scored under the current ANKC recognised scheme.
I breed minimal litters which means great thought and care is taken in planning suitable matings and producing quality puppies potentially for retention in Show Conformation, with remaining puppies sold on either the Main or Limited Register. Additionally a vital part of the breeding programme is to ensure that all dogs participate in Herding which is part of the breeds natural instincts and heritage.
